All right, listen up, 'cause I'm only gonna type this once!
What's the point of a long list of rules when most of them are common sense? Not much. But we're going to lay down the law anyways.
Rule #1: Don't be an asshole. Needless to say, if you're disrespectful or endlessly antagonizing someone, you're likely to get a warning from an administrator. Always pay some form of respect to the people with the ban buttons, too. We're trying to make this an invigorating and entertaining place to roleplay. We'd like everyone to have fun. Of course, this rule doesn't extend to your roleplaying. If your character's an asshole, well, we're all bound by convention to put up with you, you lucky devil.
Rule #2: To remain fair to the other players, when your character is required to react to something, but you yourself are avoiding posting, or on vacation, or for whatever reason you're unable to respond, understand that your character might have an action forced upon him. To avoid this, if you're aware that you'll be unable to post, you might consider getting someone else to play him temporarily, or having him decline the upcoming mission, break a leg, et cetera.
Rule #3: We no likey God-moders. If you're caught God-moding, i.e., dealing out tons of damage without taking any yourself, your ass is warned. I think this should probably go under rule number one, but it seems that no matter how many sets of rules I write, there are always powergamers swarming the boards. Again, be respectful to your fellow players.
Rule #4: Don't hesitate to ask an admin for assistance. If you have a question, or a suggestion, or fiery criticism, PM an administrator about it. We swear not to kill you. ...Unless, you know, it's something really horrible. Then you'll get a warning.
Rule #5: Have fun. Yes, I know it's cliche, but we really want this to be an awesome place for Weiss-lovers to RP. Nothing can help achieve this goal more than a bunch of people having a good time! Wai~!
There you have it. Five simple steps for easy-living on the UH boards. We hope you enjoy yourselves, and again, don't hesitate to contact an administrator if something makes you unhappy, or perplexed. *bows* Arigatou!
